Export Lottie to MP4

Turn a Lottie animation into a video for a presentation or video editor. Import the file into Libre, check the result and export MP4 for free.

Export a Lottie video

Free editing and exports. No account required.

Make your video

  1. Open the animation

In Studio, choose Import and select a Lottie JSON or dotLottie file. JSON files need embedded images; dotLottie packages can include their images.

  2. Check the motion

Play the imported animation and compare it with the original. Libre supports a subset of Lottie features, so check the result before converting.

  3. Set the background

Deselect layers and choose Frame background in the Animation panel. MP4 has a solid background. For transparency, choose WebM and enable Transparent frame background instead.

  4. Download MP4

Choose Export, select MP4 and check the preview. Keep the tab open while Libre renders the video on your device.

If video export fails

  • Try a smaller canvas or shorter animation. The export guide below has the full video settings and size limits.
  • Lottie files using 3D, time remapping or per-character text animation need changes in the source app before import.
