Recolor your animation
Import your file
Open Studio and choose Import. Select a Lottie JSON or dotLottie file and check that the imported animation looks right.
Find the shape
Select it on the canvas or in Layers. Expand groups if you need to reach an individual shape.
Pick a color
Open its fill or stroke control in Properties and set the color you want. For a gradient, edit the relevant stops. If the color is animated, check its keyframes too.
Preview and download
Play the whole animation to check that the old color does not return later. Choose Export, inspect the Lottie preview and download the result.
Which colors can you change?
- This edits vector fills and strokes. Colors baked into an embedded image need to be changed in the image itself.
- There is no global replace-all palette. Edit the relevant shapes and check their animation keys.
