# What is Lottie Libre

> A free vector animation editor for Lottie — icons, loaders, and path motion in the browser.

Lottie Libre is a **free vector animation editor** that runs in your browser. You draw and edit shapes on a canvas, animate their properties on a timeline, and export Lottie, dotLottie, or video. Lottie files describe artwork and motion for playback in compatible players.

## What you can do

* Create shapes (rectangle, ellipse, line) or draw with the pen
* Edit paths, vertices, and Bézier handles
* Keyframe transforms, path shape, and appearance over time
* Import SVG, copied Figma vectors, images, and supported Lottie / dotLottie animations
* Save animations to your account for access on other devices, or keep guest drafts in this browser
* Share and export for use in products
